Our 2K tile paint is ideal for renovating floor and wall tiles in wet rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens.
With high water resistance, excellent coverage and adhesion, the tile paint offers long-lasting protection.

Application
Step 1: Cleaning & Sanding
Close the drill holes, remove silicone and other deposits. Then sand the tiles well and clean them thoroughly.
Step 2: Mix components
Mix the 2K tile paint and the corresponding hardener in a ratio of 7:1 (e.g. one can of hardener 100ml is enough for one can of 2K tile paint 750ml).
Step 3: Painting the tiles
The 2K tile varnish should be applied thinly with a brush or roller. After the first layer has dried (approx. 3 - 5 hours), a second layer can be applied. In order to achieve an even surface, intermediate sanding with a fine 240 grit is recommended.
Tip: We recommend doing a test coat on an inconspicuous area beforehand to identify any problems in advance.

What is the difference between 2K tile paint and normal tile paint?
The main difference between 2K tile paint and normal tile paint is the composition and durability. 2K (two-component) tile paint consists of two components: the paint and a hardener, which are mixed before application. This combination creates a chemical reaction that makes the paint particularly tough, durable and resistant to abrasion and chemicals. Normal tile paint, on the other hand, is one-component and does not offer the same high resistance and durability as 2K tile paint.
How long does it take for the 2K tile varnish to dry?
The drying time of the 2K tile varnish is about 3-5 hours for the first coat. However, complete curing can take 1-2 weeks, depending on the environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
