Application
Step 1: Cleaning & Sanding
Sand and clean the dry wood well. Damaged surfaces and loose old layers must be completely sanded down. Then remove dust from the surface.
Step 2: Masking
You should carefully tape off any objects that should not come into contact with the paint. If possible, it is best to unscrew them immediately.
Step 3: Apply wood preservative paint
Shake the can well before use and stir the paint with a wooden spatula. You can then apply the wood protection paint thinly with a brush or roller. After the first layer has dried, you should apply a second and, depending on the desired result, a third. Intermediate sanding is recommended.
Tip: We recommend doing a test coat on an inconspicuous area beforehand to identify any problems in advance.

How do I sand the wood before painting?
Use medium grit sandpaper (180-240) and sand the wood surface evenly, then dust thoroughly to remove loose particles.
How long does the drying time take?
The first coat dries in about 2-3 hours. For optimal curing, 12 hours should be left between coats.
